A New Chapter for Scan to BIM University:
Scan to BIM University is now proudly part of the U.S. Institute of Building Documentation (USIBD). As a completely free educational resource, it continues to provide foundational knowledge in Scan to BIM workflows, laser scanning, and building documentation best practices.
This partnership brings together two aligned missions—delivering accessible, high-quality education and advancing industry standards. With the USIBD’s leadership in documentation standards and certification, STBU gains new authority and expanded opportunity. Now hosted on the BD Pros platform, STBU becomes part of a centralized hub designed to support and connect the entire building documentation community.
